Self Serve Overview

MultiPressure System®

CustomKraft’s innovative patented MultiPressure System® offers up to 12 selections per bay (50% more than other systems) and has only one hose per boom.  CustomKraft’s “single hose design” has about 80% fewer hoses than other self-service equipment.  Customers are drawn in with new and unique selections, staying in the bay longer, thus increasing the income from each customer.  Lower pressures are achieved using a secondary by-pass in the high-pressure delivery line.

VFD System

CustomKraft’s variable frequency drive (VFD) unit is the virtual apex of design.  The space saving stacked equipment may be manufactured to fit into almost any car wash plant room.  By utilizing the VFD to manipulate pump/motor speed, products may be delivered to the customer with ultimate precision and efficiency. CustomKraft’s VFD equipment integrates all our previous innovations, while providing accessibility and reliability. CustomKraft’s “single hose design” also eliminates in bay check valves at the top of each bay boom.

Modular System

CustomKraft’s modular systems are engineered and manufactured to specification for high-pressure washing operations.  These units are typically used for dealers, fleet, municipal, prep units or homeowner operations.  Custom units are rugged and may be initiated with a switch, key, timer or trigger gun activation.

Carwash Supply Co’s Self Serve equipment

Ultra fast in-bay self serve car wash equipment.
When a customer selects a low-pressure cycle, the VFD System runs at high-pressure until the chemical reaches the bay. This permits faster delivery to the customer and higher customer satisfaction. When the product reaches the spray tip, the system automatically switches to pre-selected delivery pressure. The unit initiates at high-pressure for each new selection.  Motor speeds are ramped up and down, eliminating the jolt associated with motor contactors/starters.
System Benefits
  • Smooth operation of pump and motor, increasing bearing, shaft and motor life expectancy.
  • Ramping up to speed to reduce “inrush” electrical demand, reducing electrical billing rates.
  • May operate the same 3 phase motor with single or three phase input voltage and with virtually any electrical power supply.
  • Uses the same pump for the high-pressure, medium-pressure and low-pressure.
  • Single delivery hose per bay reduces installation time and eases maintenance.
  • WeepMizer freeze protection is used on single delivery hose, without overhead check valves.
  • Changeover time is reduced for low-pressure applications and is independent of chemicals being dispensed.
  • Eliminates many components including: in-bay check valves, low-pressure delivery pumps and poly hoses.
  • Low-pressure cycles may be delivered at higher application pressures.
  • Increases the reliability of the system by reducing the number of components.

Variable Frequency Drive (VFD)Advantages.
Tubular stainless steel stacked frame for spatial efficiency with component accessibility. Hinged stainless steel electrical boxes with lock-out for flexibility and safety. Stainless steel tanks with clear acrylic lid for easier access. Super E Baldor® 5 horsepower 3-phase motor for increased electrical efficiency (NEMA nominal efficiency rating 89.5%).Variable frequency drive unit is capable of up to seven (7)different motor speeds with “soft start” to reduce component fatigue. Single pump/tank unit for fewer connections and easier installation. Available in separate modules for ease of handling (modules to be connected on-site).Overall reduction of components to further increase system reliability.

MultiPressure System.
CustomKraft’s MultiPressure System® uses one pump per bay. This pump uses the same delivery hose for high-pressure, medium-pressure and low-pressure cycles. Lower pressure cycles are applied at a pre-set, field adjustable pressure, while high-pressure cycles remain unchanged. Chemicals are selected using color-coded solenoid valves with lighted NEMA rated connectors. The chemicals are pressurized with the bay pump; a delay timer activates a secondary by-pass valve, allowing discharge back to the intake of the pump. By controlling the by-pass flow rate, cycle delivery pressure is regulated.

CustomKraft low-pressure selections are delivered 400% faster than other systems, improving customer satisfaction.
With intelligently engineered design, our systems are renowned for their reliability and high performance. Because each unit is custom-built to fulfil your car wash needs, our systems can befit virtuallyany practical application.
